Desiring God 3K Campaign

What would you be willing to do to see more racially and ethnically diverse churches in America?

DG3K Campaign

One of the biggest blessings in my life is to serve as the co-founder and President of the Reformed African American Network (RAAN).  We started RAAN in 2011 to address the core concerns of African Americans biblically.  We do this in three ways.  By…

1) Providing biblically faithful resources, especially in the Reformed tradition

2) Creating a network of Reformed African Americans and other like-minded Christians

3) Developing theology in community by creating original content from people of varying races, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds

The Lord has blessed our meager ministry in many ways.  Most recently, He has given us an opportunity to exhibit at the Desiring God National Conference in Minneapolis, MN on September 27-29.  Desiring God is a ministry of Dr. John Piper whose influence on the broader Christian world and on me personally has been immeasurable.

We’re excited about this opportunity because it enables us to engage a wider audience with the mission and vision of RAAN.  Our ministry is not the voice of Reformed Blacks, we are the microphone.  Therefore, the larger an audience we have the more exposure we can give to the many talented but lesser-known theologians, pastors, counselors, missionaries and lay people who have edifying Christian messages to share.

Would you be willing to partner with RAAN financially to enable us to attend the Desiring God National Conference?

We’re trying to raise a total of $3,000 for plane tickets, hotels, and meals for four members of the RAAN team.

Here’s a link to a more specific description of this opportunity.  Desiring God 3K Campaign

I hope you’ll see this as a chance to join with us in following the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations (Mt. 28:18-20).  Thank you.
