Romantic Rationalist

I just returned from Minneapolis after attending the Desiring God National Conference.   The theme of this year’s conference was “The Romantic Rationalist: God, Life, and Imagination in the Work of C.S. Lewis”.  I was there along with three of my colleagues exhibiting for the Reformed African American Network (RAAN).  Since we were at our booth the entire time, I actually didn’t get to see any of the sessions live.  But thank God for technology!

They posted all the main talks from the conference on the Desiring God website.  I’ve included just a few links below, but be sure to visit the site for the full listing!

John Piper- The Central Story of C.S. Lewis’s Life: Why We Call Him a “Romantic Rationalist”

N.D. Wilson- Myth Wars: C.S. Lewis vs. Scientism

Colin Duriez- The Friendship of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien

P.S. Thanks to all of you for contributing to the Desiring God 3K Campaign.  We reached our fundraising goal and were able to make it to the conference!  If you’d like to support the ministry of the Reformed African American Network (RAAN) please click HERE.
